Daffest is going on in Saranac Lake right now for three weekends.  The whole village is ablaze with daffodils as part of the community spring celebration.

At Kiwassa Camp we are cleaning up winter forest debris.  Soon we will be able to plant all the hanging baskets for the porches and boathouse dock.  We completed the move of the guest cabin onto a new foundation further away from the main camp building.  Now the posts, skirting and landscaping remain before it is usable.

We are nearly fully rented for the summer months.  Shoulder season weeks are still available.  June and September are great months to enjoy the fresh Adirondack air, mountains and lakes.

Tracks

It’s been pretty quiet out at camp this winter. We were out there recently and saw some coyote tracks going down the boardwalk.
It’s been a really mild winter and the lake still has some open water in it.  It was so sunny we felt like we could pull out a rocker on the front porch and settle in for the week!
