Comments and Local Info

Last summer our guests enjoyed swimming, canoing to the locks, fishing and hiking. Some climbed Mt. Jo, Marcy, Whiteface and Esther. Others rocked on the porch watching the hummingbirds and ducks.

In the village of Saranac Lake there is music in the park weekly, plus art and antique shows. Boats can be rented downtown and in other area marinas.

The new Wild Center in Tupper Lake is a great destination as are the shops in Lake Placid.

Some area restaurants: Italian: Morgan's 13 and Little Italy, Mexican: Casa Del Sol, Traditional: Red Fox, and Barbeque: Tail-O-the-Pup, among others.
