From The Camp Log
Our binoculars and spotting scope have had a workout. Didn't bother with any tv...camp was where we wanted to be!
Once again the loons serenaded us all week
The house was a perfect size to prepare and eat dinner as a family and all play games together
Both porches were great relaxing spots...especially when we had an amazing view to look out to
Singing around the campfire was a special treat
Our seven-year-old caught a 30", 6 pound Northern Pike on Lake Kiwassa around 7:30 pm
Our six year old grandson was so excited to be here that he ran from the car with his clothes on to jump in the lake!
Kiwassa Lake and Camp are definitely one of the "Great" camps of the Adirondacks
Last day here and have no interest in leaving the porch to pack
We were together for the first time since Christmas, ten of us, ages 7 to 80, and all found something to do
The fire pit was an amazing touch because one of the nights was perfect for making a fire and having s'mores and sitting around talking as a family
This place was AWESOME!! Best property I've seen or stayed at. Sitting by the lake at night with the fire pit was extremely relaxing and the stars were amazing. Lots of fish to catch too if you like to fish. It's a rustic camp, but that adds to the setting. I will definitely go back sometime soon!!
Never a dull moment - though many moments of quiet peace!
Loved the rocking chairs on the porch. Great for reading and cocktails
We all loved the house and it met all our needs. The view was spectacular
Swam many times every day. Caught a 28" pike and a bass

Spring
Spring has finally arrived in the Adirondacks! We still had snowfall up until last week, but none remained on the ground. Daffest is going on in Saranac Lake right now for three weekends. The whole village is ablaze with daffodils … Continue reading
Winter At Camp
It’s been pretty quiet out at camp this winter. We were out there recently and saw some coyote tracks going down the boardwalk. It’s been a really mild winter and the lake still has some open water in it. It … Continue reading
