Come enjoy this rustic early 1900’s Adirondack vacation rental located on a pristine lake in the central high-peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains.
This very private summer retreat is surrounded by forest with a sunny western view of the high peak mountains. The entire property is your exclusive rental with 250 feet of shoreline and plenty of places to wander. Two docks, a float and a row boat provide a nice place to enjoy the water. The lake shore gradually gets deeper, perfect for young swimmers. A small brook empties into the lake at the boathouse. Motorboat rentals are available in town or bring your own and launch it nearby.
The camp has five bedrooms, two baths and a full kitchen, dining room and living room with den. Please see Tour of Camp for details. Take in spectacular lake and mountain views, hummingbirds and sunsets from the comfort of the front porch rockers. Listen to loons and catch up on your reading on a traditional Adirondack cure chair (chaise) on the side screened-in porch. The far shore of the lake is part of the forever wild wilderness lands of Adirondack State Park.
The outflow of the lake is a navigable river that enters into a remarkable wilderness waterway system of lakes, rivers, and state operated locks. Whether your taste is canoe or motorboat, you will be rewarded with every turn in the river or a picnic on a secluded island.
